Proper nutrition and good health are the most important aspects of downing a Bully. These tips will help you to raise a Bully in a proper manner.

VACCINATIONS

Your Bully can be considered a puppy between 8 and 6 months of age. These tips will help you to make sure your puppy grows well. Your puppy should be vaccinated at regular vet visits. These vaccinations should all be administered at three-week intervals. A total of five vaccinations should be given to your puppy. At 5 weeks old, the standard 7-way shot should be administered. You may have to administer a 7-way shot with Corona in certain areas. If this is necessary in your area, ask your vet.

Your Bully should be 6 months old by the time you get a 3-year rabies vaccine from your vet. Every three years, you should get a second round of rabies vaccinations.
As a booster, give your American Bully 7-way vaccines every year starting at one year old.
Your Bully’s health should be checked at least once a year by your vet.

WORMING

There are many types of worms that can infect dogs. To determine if your dog has worms, parasites or bacteria, it is a good idea to have your vet perform a fecal exam.
We recommend that your dog be checked at least once every three months.

Your vet should start them on heartworm prevention at 4 months. These medications can also be used to kill other types of worms. Some of these are effective against ticks and fleas. Ask your veterinarian for more information.
Repeat the worming at least 14 days after your initial worming. Tapeworms need a three-day treatment. Your dog should be checked on a daily basis.

NUTRITION

We recommend high-quality, high-protein food for bullies younger than one year. Make sure you check your ingredients. The first three ingredients listed should all be meat. A high-quality best Pitbull food should have at least 20% fat and 30% protein.

These ingredients are found in a variety of premium pet foods.
You can also find frozen foods that work well.

The amount you feed your bully puppy will vary depending on their appetite. We believe it is best to give them as much food as they can eat. We recommend that they be fed three times daily or all day.
Keep your Bully puppy nourished.

Your Bully’s eating habits will change as they age. You should give your Bully enough food to keep them full and healthy for at least a year. You will notice the puppy’s metabolism change and see the excess fat turn into muscle.
We recommend that dogs younger than one year old and females under one year old receive a calcium supplement. Some breeders also add powdered all-purpose milk to their food. Both are good sources of calcium.

Vitamins and vitamins are beneficial for all ages of dogs. Different vitamins are available for different purposes. You can choose one based on your dog’s age. Multi-purpose vitamins are recommended for your Bully’s entire life.
Brewers yeast is another good food additive. This can be purchased in powdered or pill form at most pet/feed shops.

We recommend that you try out other nutritional supplements and see if they work for your Bully.
Fresh water is the last thing you need! Make sure your Bully always has fresh water available. Water should be changed every 4-6 hours.

Feeding & Exercise:

Get your Bully exercise every day. At a minimum, we recommend that Bully gets exercise at least once a week. People enjoy playing fetch. This is a great exercise. Swimming is the best form of exercise. Dogs need to exercise and walk every day.

It is vital that your Bully receives at least 1/2 hour of sunlight every day.
Remember to be cautious on hot days. Keep your Bullies hydrated.
Be alert for signs of excess heat and excursion.

Toys and chew toys:

There are many options for toys and chew toys. Toys that are large enough to not be swallowed or broken into pieces should be recommended. You must supervise your dog when they play with toys.

Socialize American Bullies with other dogs and children from the time they are puppies. Do not abuse your dog. Never allow your dog to bite another child. Teach them early that children are their friends.

Remember that this breed is one of the most loyal. Dogs are primarily motivated to please their owners. The best way to train your Bully is to have him respond to praise. Do not hit your Bully. Corrective actions should be swift and clear, while the dog is on a leash. Talk to a trainer who can teach you how to train your Bully. They will use praise as a reward and teach your dog to interact with you. Only praise and affection are necessary. The Bully breed was designed to be the perfect companion. If you have one, show your love and affection to it. Your American Bully should be loved and given love and affection. Bullies make great companions. Treat them well and they’ll be your best friend.
